Our Story
Exodus Health Couriers was founded to fill a gap in reliable, healthcare only courier services in the Dayton and Kettering region. We saw healthcare facilities struggling with generic courier services that did not understand the urgency and compliance requirements of medical logistics.
Our founders worked firsthand for a medical courier company claiming to specialize in healthcare but mixing medical specimen deliveries with industrial and mechanical pickups. Drivers assigned to lab routes were pulled away to handle deliveries for manufacturing plants and auto shops. Chain of custody was an afterthought. Specimen integrity came second to whatever job paid more.
The breaking point came when we realized the truth: while your loved one lies in a hospital bed waiting for lab results to determine treatment, the courier who should be delivering those results is 60 miles away in Columbus picking up a package from a mechanical shop. Time sensitive specimens were being delayed. Temperature control was ignored. Healthcare organizations deserved better.
We built Exodus from the ground up to focus exclusively on healthcare logistics, making sure every driver understands HIPAA and OSHA requirements, chain of custody documentation, and the importance of timely, compliant specimen transport.
